The following are equidistance maps, each for a particular origin. Click on each one to get the large size (you can save at that point if you want a copy). For example, the first shows distances from San Francisco; looking at the circles, you can see that Japan, England, and Peru are all at about the same distance. The furthest point from SF is off the coast of Madagascar.
